Swimming at Downata

So we went swimming at Downata last Wednesday for the first time as a family this year. We had lots of fun. Rylee enjoys the water very much, Hailey enjoyed it too!! This year is the first year in 7 years that I have not worked there. I have really enjoyed my time working there and had developed great friendships there. I had two of the Best Bosses anyone could ever ask for. They made working sooo enjoyable! Who knows maybe I will work there again someday.

So Rylee had been playing in my room, and i went in to check on her, and i found her like this. Funny Hu? Yeah and she is completely naked under there. Oh such a funny girl she is, I guess she was super tired.

Hailey's Birth Story

Finally I’m giving you the story of Hailey’s Birth… my Doctor decided to induce me because I had been having a high blood pressure I was to go into the Pocatello birthing center on Monday March 21 2011 around 6pm to be induced. I got all situated into my hospital gown. Then they proceeded to put an IV in me, and like always they have a hard time because I have such small vanes. It took like a half an hour, which it should only take like the 30 sec. Well then they started to give me fluids which made me pee every 15 minutes all night long just about. I didn’t sleep at all that night. Morning came finally, and the nurse checked to see how far along I was and I was not far at all, but was slowly progressing, well I got an epidural and after that things started to change a lot faster, it finally came to the point where I could start pushing. As I began to do so Hailey was not moving hardly at all. I pushed and pushed and after about 25 minutes every time I pushed Hailey’s heart beat would drop really low so my doctor decided to try the forceps, but if she couldn’t get it perfect she would not even attempt to try and pull the baby out. Well she tried for about 10 minutes and couldn’t get it perfect. The baby was still too low to try the VAC, so I continued to push for 5 more minutes but sill she was not budging with every push and her heard beat continued to drop very low. My Doctor then told me that we are just putting too much strain on the baby and it’s better to get them here safely so we need to get you to emergency c-section. I seriously just wanted to cry. I could not believe what I was hearing. I guess it just was not what I was expecting. I just wanted a normal delivery. And then all of a sudden papers come flying at me with people wanting my signature on sooo many papers while they are rushing me to the sugary room, which was kind of ridicules. I was throwing up in a bag as they were rushing me in the hallway to sugary, which was not cool. As soon as I got in the room within 5 minutes Hailey was out of me. But it seemed like 45 minutes before they had me all sealed up. In was in the recovery room for maybe 30 minutes and then they took me to my room where I stayed the rest of the time at the hospital I was sooooo tired I fell right asleep for such a long time. I stayed for an additional 2 days it was so painful to try in get up. More painful than I can express. The pain lasted for a week more. And the stitches were away by 3 weeks. There is more to the story for sure but that’s all for now 

The 4th of July Events

Well we had so much fun this past 4th of July weekend!! The day was filled with lots of fun memories. We started the day bright and early, Russell helped serve breakfast at the city park at 5 in the morning until 9, he was representing the Young Farmers and Ranchers. Then we went to the parade!! Rylee enjoyed it sooo much. She got lots of candy, which reminds me, I have no clue where her candy went to after the parade…hummmm its probably still in the car, ooops .notice how Rylee's Hair is done up in pig tailes, well this is about the only picture i got and then the elastic broke :(
